Got this in the mail today-- a bike messenger service in Manila. What an awesome idea! And I love the name-- reminds me of another Pinoy ingenuity I saw on a bike before..

This service was put up by a member of the UP Mountaineers. Not only is it more environmental but most probably your package or documents may arrive on time as there is no such thing as Traffic for bike messengers.
Here's a note from a friend who tried the service yesterday:
I tried out the new PEDALA bike messenger service today. I texted them at 630AM arranging a pick up at 11AM in Quezon City for delivery at the Ortigas Business Center.
The biker arrived at 10:54AM. I got a message that my package was with my client 40 minutes later. All of this for only P50! It saved me a lot of money and it helped save this planet too!
